The No. 13 Santa Clara men's water polo team will host the 2010 Rodeo Tournament this weekend at the Sullivan Aquatic Center. The Broncos will welcome No. 20 Brown, No. 15 Cal Baptist, Air Force, Bucknell, No. 11 UC Davis, and No. 7 Pacific.
The tournament will begin Friday evening, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. with a matchup between Brown and Cal Baptist.
Saturday will be the first full day of action, with Santa Clara opening the day at 9 a.m. against Cal Baptist. The Broncos will also play at 2 p.m. against Bucknell.
On Sunday, SCU also plays at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., taking on Brown in the morning game and Air Force in the afternoon. For a complete tournament schedule and the most up-to-date results, click here.
The Broncos are 13-9 overall and currently third in the WWPA with a 6-5 record against conference teams.
Junior James Case scored one goal against UC Davis last weekend and retains the team lead in goals with 41. Junior Daley Meistrell still leads the team with 43 assists and 27 steals. Senior Stephen Hobbs has drawn a team-best 35 exclusions. Junior goalie Michael Wishart's save percentage sits at .557.
Admission to the tournament will be charged for an entire day's session. Per day the cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors.
