AS A JUNIOR IN 2001-02: Represented Santa Clara at the 2001 World TeamTennis (WTT) National Collegiate Tennis Championships with Victor Camargo...met World TeamTennis founder Billie Jean King while in San Diego... posted a 16-14 doubles record with four partners... moved into the eighth spot for career combined doubles victories with a 42-31 record.
AS A RS SOPHOMORE IN 2000-01: Earned first team all-West Coast Conference honors in doubles with partner Ryan Livesay, after going 15-9 at the No. 1 position... went 19-12 overall, the best single-season mark in school history... the tandem also gained the program's first-ever victory over a ranked doubles team, an 8-6 victory over California's Kintz and Barnes, ranked 31st at the March meeting... also defeated a regionally-ranked duo from Sacramento State... returned to the singles lineup in mid-March with a straight-set victory over Gonzaga's Shaun Whitney.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1999-2000: Redshirted the season after undergoing three elbow surges in February, March and April.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 1998-99: Posted an 8-7 record in singles, all out of the 4-6 positions... was in four different doubles combinations, finishing with a 6-5 mark... finished 4-0 in singles against WCC opponents with wins over USF (twice), Gonzaga and Saint Mary's... paired with Jeremy Testwuide for a 8-6 doubles win over Portland in the West Coast Conference Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at Punahou High School in Honolulu, Hawaii... played for head coach Rusty Komori... led team to four straight state championships... captured state doubles title as a senior... finished his senior season with a 20-0 doubles record... also finished second in the state singles championship as a junior... named All-State in 1997 and `98 and All-Conference 1995-98... lettered in football and volleyball... earned honorable mention all-conference honors in football.
