AS A JUNIOR IN 2000-01: Went 14-8 in singles, mostly at the No. 4 position… secured the team’s lone singles victory against Arizona… won seven straight matches early in the season… won all three WCC dual matches… clinched team victory against Air Force with 6-1, 6-0 rout… also clinched victory against Pacific, rallying for a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 win over Maxime Lacroix… did it again in the first round of conference championships, rallying 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 victory to surge the team past LMU… helped team capture third place in the WCC Tournament with a victory over Portland’s Nick Tostenrude 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.

Why did you choose Santa Clara? Because of the coaches and the healthy environment on campus.
