Men’s Tennis’ Garnett and Seby Named WCC Doubles Team of the Week

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis was recognized by the West Coast Conference on Tuesday as sophomores Connor Garnett and Robert Seby were named the WCC Men's Doubles Team of the Week. 

The duo went 2-0 in doubles action for the Broncos last weekend in victories over Nevada (4-1) on Saturday and UNLV (4-0) on Sunday. Despite dropping the doubles point to Nevada, Garnett and Seby won on court one over Julien Evrard and Augustin Delahodde (NEV), 6-3. The duo then clinched the doubles point for the Broncos on Sunday with a 7-6 (3) win over Evaldo Neto and Jakob Amilon (UNLV).

With the Broncos boasting a 6-1 record, Garnett and Seby are 8-4 overall on the year and 5-2 (all on court one) in dual matches.

The duo of Garnett and Seby and their Bronco teammates will be in action at Degheri Tennis Center on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT against Boise State.
