Two former Santa Clara Broncos helped the Houston Dynamo win the MLS Cup Championship on Nov. 18. Ryan Cochrane '05 and Erik Ustruck '07 helped the Dynamo win its second consecutive Major League Soccer title. Cochrane started and played 90 minutes in the Dynamo's 2-1 victory over the New England Revolution on Sunday. For the season, Cochrane started 25 games and scored one goal from central defense and he played every minute of every game in the playoffs for Houston. Ustruck, a rookie, did not play with the Dynamo's first team, but did see action in the MLS Reserve League this year.
