SENIOR (2013): The senior co-captain played and started in all 20 matches for the Broncos as a vital piece in the Broncos’ defense … helped lead the team to six shutouts … Daus was picked to earn WCC Team honors by the league coaches in preseason polls … named to the WCC First Team and College Sports Madness WCC Second Team … picked up an assist at UW (Sept. 3) ... notched an assist in the Broncos' match at Saint Mary's (Oct. 13) ... picked up an assist vs. Gonzaga (Oct. 18) … scored the game-winner in the Broncos’ 2-1 victory at USF (Nov. 10).
JUNIOR (2012): Team co-captain and All-West Coast Conference First Team honoree ... anchored Santa Clara's back line, helping the Broncos post seven shutouts and playing a big part in teammate Larry Jackson winning the 2012 WCC Goalkeeper of the Year award ... played and started in all 19 games for SCU, one of just three Bronco players to provide the lineup with that kind of durability ... recorded three shots - all in the same game - vs. San Jose State (Sept. 9) ... led the Broncos to an 11-6-2 overall record and an 8-2-2 mark in WCC play.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Durable, reliable defender who played and started in all 20 games ... part of an outstanding Bronco backline which posted nine shutouts ... played 1,847 minutes (92 minutes per game), which led the team ... helped Santa Clara get off to a 6-1-3 start and earn a national ranking of No. 18 ... the Broncos posted wins over Stanford (Aug. 27), No. 14 Cal (Sept. 16) and tied No. 6 UCLA (Sept. 2) ... SCU also won five straight games to close out the season to challenge for the WCC title ... they finished with the league's best overall record, 11-5-4.
FRESHMAN (2010): Named the All-WCC Freshman Team and was a strong candidate for the league's 'Freshman of the Year' award ... his addition as a true freshman was key to Santa Clara's run to the WCC Championship one of just four SCU players to start in all 21 games ... his 1,961 minutes played was second on the team, only to goalkeeper Kevin Klasila ... played in every minute of every game with the exception of two outings ... played alongside first-year defender Gabriel Romero in the Bronco backfield.
AT JESUIT: A 2010 graduate of Jesuit College Prep in Plano, Tex. … coached by Charles DeLong … led team to No. 1 national ranking by ESPN Rise in 2010 … anchored defense that allowed only three goals during the 2010 regular season … led team to a 23-1 record in 2009 … Texas All-District 8-5A honoree in 2009 … 2009 Texas all-state and all-region selection … named a ‘Player to Watch’ by the Dallas Morning News in 2010 … played club ball for the US Soccer Development Academy Dallas Texans where his team won the Dallas Cup in 2009.
