Cameron Rast, on game: "We did some really good things tonight and we got in behind them a number of times. We had a couple of shots off the post and their goalkeeper made some very nice saves. Sometimes that is the difference in the game. They had a couple of dangerous moments, but I think that we did enough to win it. Unfortunately, we were lacking that final finishing touch."
Rast, on shutout: "I am happy with keeping them off the scoresheet. Sometimes when you dominate the game, a mistake here or there can lead to a loss. We played hard and did not give them many dangerous opportunities. We did not let them run at us and we kept the play in front of us tonight so I am pleased with that."
Stephen McCarthy, on game: "We moved the ball really well and we created some great chances that I thought that we were definitely going to finish. Not being able to score goals in front of our home fans is frustrating right now."
McCarthy, looking ahead to Sunday: "We have to go out there and get a win. There is no other option, so hopefully we come out and play well and get the result that we want."
McCarthy, on U.S. Under-20 camp: "It was a great experience to play with so many great players like Freddy Adu. Wearing the USA jersey against Haiti was amazing. It was a dream come true to be able to put that on. I think I did alright and I hope that I get another chance to play with them."
McCarthy, on playing center back for U.S.: "I haven't really ever played there in my life besides a few practices earlier this year for Santa Clara. There were some great players there so that made it an easy transition for me."
