Men's Golf Finishes Ties For Fourth At SCU Invitational

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The Santa Clara men's golf team finished tied for fourth place at the 2008 Santa Clara Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Silver Creek Valley Country Club. The Broncos compiled a team score of 887/+35.

Individually, SCU had three athletes finish in the top-20, while the other four Bronco competitors finished in the top-50.

Senior Jonathan Keane recorded his best finish of the season, claiming sole possession of fourth place. It is also his third top-10 ranking of the season. Keane shot one-over with a final score of 214 and a final round of 69.

Junior Jimmy Cacho tied for 10th with a score of 220/+7. He shot is lowest round of the tournament in the third round with a score of 72. Playing as an individual, Tyler Ichikawa tied for 19th at 11-over. He shot his best round, 67, in round two.
