Men's Golf Currently Sits in Sixth Place

STOCKTON, Calif.--The Santa Clara University men's golf team is in sixth place after two rounds of action at the Pacific Intercollegiate, hosted by the Tigers at The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton.

Santa Clara carded a 20-over-par 306-290--596 in today's action on the course, which is a par-72, 7,000-yard layout. Cal Poly and UC Riverside are currently tied in first with even-par 576s. Host Pacific is 10 strokes back for third.

Eric Lillibridge (76-72) and John Colyar (75-73) lead the Broncos after both carded 148s, tying them for 13th place. Similarly, Michael Nicoletti and Kellen Moss are tied for 23rd at 150 and Jong Yoon is tied for 44th with a 156.

Cal Poly's Travis Bertoni is atop the leader board for the individual competition, after carding rounds of 69 and 67 for a 136, eight strokes under par. Greg Wells of UC Santa Barbara is one stroke back and third is held by UC Riverside's Brendan Steel at 138.

The Broncos will play the third and final round of the Intercollegiate on Tuesday.
