Men's Golf Places 13th at U.S Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. - With all five golfers recording rounds in the 70s, the Santa Clara's men's team placed 13th at the U.S. Intercollegiate this afternoon. The event was hosted at the Stanford Golf Course, a par-71 layout measuring 6,786 yards. Arizona won the event with a three-day total of 837. Rounding out the top five are Arizona State (852), UCLA (858), USC (859) and host Stanford (863). Arizona's Chris Nallen took top honors individually firing a seven-under par 206. Arizona State's Jeff Quinney took second with a 210. Arizona leads the field at 11-under par 557 followed by Oregon (562), Arizona State (564), UCLA (574) and USC (577). Santa Clara is tied with UC Irvine and San Diego at 595, +27.
The Broncos will conclude play at the Intercollegiate tomorrow morning, a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m.
