Men's Golf Sits in 12th at U.S. Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. - The Santa Clara's men's golf team is in a three-way tie for 12th place after two rounds at the U.S. Intercollegiate. The event is being hosted at the Stanford Golf Course, a par-71 layout measuring 6,786 yards for the men. Seniors Drew Corwin and Tony Okano led the Broncos in scoring today. Corwin carded a three-over 145 and Okano is just one stroke behind that. Arizona leads the field at 11-under par 557 followed by Oregon (562), Arizona State (564), UCLA (574) and USC (577). Santa Clara is tied with UC Irvine and San Diego at 595, +27. Arizona's Chris Nallen holds a two stroke lead over the field after shooting a seven-under-par 135 over two rounds. Oregon's Aaron Byers is second with a 137. The Broncos will conclude play at the Intercollegiate tomorrow morning, a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m.
