Men's Golf Sits in Fourth Place at WCC Championships

SANTA ROSA, Calif. - The Santa Clara's men's golf team is currently in fourth place after two rounds of the West Coast Conference Championships, held all day today in the North Bay. Junior Sandy Horacek leads the Broncos with a one-over-par 145. The women's team was only able to field three golfers when play began this morning, but is now down to two golfers, who are playing as individuals. Junior Sarah Dahm was unable to complete the second round this afternoon due to a back injury. Sophomore Katie Gross led the Broncos with a 190 scorecard, followed closely by freshman Katie Johnson's 194. The event is being hosted at the Windsor Golf Club, a par-72 layout measuring 6,650 yards for the men and 5,818 for the women. The final round of the WCC Championship begins tomorrow morning with tee times starting at 7 a.m.
