Broncos Underway At USF Triumph at Pauma Valley

PAUMA VALLEY, Calif. - The Santa Clara men's golf team began play at the USF Triumph at Pauma Valley and stand 9th after the first two rounds of play. The Broncos finished they day square in the middle of the leaderboard in 9th place with a combined scores of 294 and 294. Jimmy Cacho, who finished tied for 15th, led the Broncos in their first day of play with rounds of 76 (+1) and 69 (-2). Senior captain Jong Yoon finished just two strokes behind, tied for 24th, with rounds of 72 (+1) and 75 (+4). Kellen Moss finished the afternoon tied for 33rd with rounds of 74 (+3) and 75 (+4). Garrett Logan and Scott Travers rounded out the team both finishing tied for 49th. The team continues the USF Triumph tomorrow from the Pauma Valley Country Club.
