Broncos Out-Play Five Schools in USD's Final Round

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Santa Clara University's golf team jumped past WCC rival Loyola Marymount on the final day of the 5th Annual USD Callaway Invitational presented by the Farms Golf Club (Par 72, 6,910-yards). The Broncos finished the tournament seventh in the 12-team field.

The Broncos were without its No. 3 player, Rick Lamb and finished 31 strokes behind a UC Irvine team it tied for first place honors last week in Costa Mesa. SCU was led by upperclassmen Jimmy Cacho and Scott Travers.
