WAIKOLOA, Hawaii - The Santa Clara mens golf team had a rough day at the University of Hawaii Hilo Intercollegiate as they completed the second round of play on Wednesday. After a strong start in which they posted a first round combined score of 276, they team came back Thursday with a combined score of 291. The Broncos are now 16th in the 18 team field. Once again, it was senior Jong Yoon who led the Broncos. After posting a 67 on Wednesday, Yong had another positive outing, finishing the day with a 69 at the par-70 Waikoloa Village Golf Club and tying him for 24th individually. For the rest of the squad it was an extremely tough day, with Jimmy Cacho, Garrett Logan, Mike Miller and Jonathan Keane each finishing with rounds of 74. Friday's final round is set for 7:30 a.m. local time.
