Kertson To Compete In Pacific Coast Amateur Championship
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men’s golfer Tyler Kertson is one of 87 elite amateur golfers scheduled to compete in the 48th Pacific Coast Amateur Championship in Flagstaff, Ariz. beginning July 22. The par-72, 7,272 yard Jay Morrish designed Pine Canyon Club will host the 72-hole, four-day stroke play competition, for the chance to raise the Dr. Ed Updegraff trophy as champion of one of the Pacific Coast's most historic golfing events.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – With a solid season that included competing in all 33 rounds over 11 events and four top-20 finishes, Tyler Kertson was tabbed the West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year in a vote of the league’s head coaches while Gio Gandionco and Evan McLeod earned honorable mention recognition.
