Rain Delays Cabo Collegiate; Tournament to be Completed Tuesday
CABO SAN LUCAS, Mex. - Second-round play of the Cabo Collegiate in Baja, Mexico was delayed Monday morning due to a tropical storm in the area. The 12-team field was able to tee off at 3 p.m. and is expected to play approximately 13-14 holes before finishing at 7 p.m. tonight.
The remaining second-round holes, and the final 18 will be played on Tuesday. After Round One on Sunday, Santa Clara was in seventh place overall, but just six shots behind No. 20 Florida State for third. Leading the strong nationwide field after Monday's opening round were SEC programs Mississippi and Kentucky.
Expect complete tournament results Tuesday evening.

Details: The 54-hole tournament will begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning. 18 holes will be played each day, with a 9 a.m. start time Monday and 8 a.m. start time on Tuesday.
