Head Coach Rob Miller, on final round: "The conditions were tough out there, but to turn in the 7th best team score in any round, especially with a field like this is obviously some very good play. We finished on a couple of the tougher holes and the guys turned in some incredible pars to help us maintain our position."
Miller, on team's performance: "The freshmen really played great. It was a character building tournament and round. It was great to finish with a fabulous round like that."
Miller, on team's turnaround: "I think that collectively for them it got down to a sense of pride. They felt they needed to pull together. They didn't want to finish in last place and they were very focused on trying to finish as strong as possible. As a team they felt really good about being able to be here among some of the best teams in the country and they proved that they weren't out of place at all."
Miller, reflecting on fall season: "I'm pretty happy. It's been a tough fall for us, and it's nice for the guys to play like they did here and gain some confidence. We have a lot of competitions coming up in the spring, but I think now everybody feels like we can do it."
