ATHLETIC EXPERIENCE: Is in his first year with the SCU rowing team as a freshman in 2014-15 ... competed in water polo and swimming at Clovis North High School in Fresno, Calif. … played on the varsity water polo team all four years and was a captain as a senior in 2013 … academic All-American in 2011-12 … Rookie of the Year in 2010 … team won the 2012 Woodcreek Invite and placed third at the 2012 Bellarmine Invite … won the 2011 Irvine Invite and D II Valley Championship … won the 2010 D II Valley Championship and finished second in the TRAC league … in swimming posted personal bests of 0:22.65 in the 50m freestyle and 0:48.93 in the 100m freestyle.

Why I Chose Santa Clara: Santa Clara University was always a heavy contender when it came down to where I would be attending school. Once I actually visited, I was sold on the school.  Everything around the campus, on campus, and the people I met and talked to really sold me on the school. Once I visited, I knew that Santa Clara was to be the school I attended.
