Santa Clara opens its season on Fri., Nov. 6 at 7 pm in the Leavey Center for an exhibition vs. Notre Dame du Namur. The Broncos travel to Cal State Bakersfield Fri., Nov. 13 for a 7 pm game and then their regular season opener is vs. Menlo College on Mon., Nov. 16 at 7 pm in Santa Clara.

"We are excited to continue our relationship with KDOW AM 1220. Bringing our men's basketball games over the radio waves to Bronco fans both in their homes and on the road is important to me. With Coach Keating on the Sports Ramble every Sunday evening, he will again be able to give Santa Clara basketball fans an inside look on a regular basis. We look forward to tipping off the season with an exhibition vs. Notre Dame de Namur at the Leavey Center this Friday," said Santa Clara Athletic Director Dan Coonan.

"We are extremely pleased to be the radio home of Santa Clara basketball again this season," KDOW AM 1220 General Manager Dan Craig. "We really enjoyed working with them last year and look forward to building on that relationship this year. They have a rich basketball tradition, going back to the days of Kurt Rambis, and later Steve Nash. They are a highly recognizable and competitive program, with a sizeable fan base and an active student body and alumni in the Bay Area. We know that they will be well received by our audience."

The contract will include daily morning updates on Bronco and WCC highlights from Bronco radio voice Anthony Passarelli, ticket giveaways and signage in the Leavey Center.
