Former WCC Player of the Year John Bryant's NBADL Game to be on VERSUS April 3

Bronco fans itching to see 2009 WCC Player of the Year John Bryant on the court again can get their fix on Sat., April 3 when his NBADL team, the Eric BayHawks, play at the Main Red Claws on a nationally-televised game on VERSUS at 8 pm. It is the 10th NBA Development League game the league has broadcast this season. The Red Claws, an expansion team for the 2009-10 NBA D-League season, have a perfect 6-0 record against the BayHawks this season.

Prior to its April 1 vs. Springfield, Bryant had scored the team's most points this season, tallying 632. He is collecting 13.4 ppg, 9.6 rpg, 1.7 apg and 1.5 bpg. His 9.6 rpg are second-best on the team. He has played in 47 games this season, starting 38 contests. He plays 29.9 mpg and is shooting almost 78 from the free-throw line.

VERSUS' presentation of the NBA D-League provides fans with greater access to the game and its players through microphones worn by players and coaches; in-game interviews; locker room access including pre-game, halftime and post-game speeches; and innovative camera angles. All NBA D-League action on VERSUS is presented in HD.

Miles Simon is joined in the booth by play-by-play announcer Andrew Monaco. Monaco is currently the TV and radio announcer for the WNBA's San Antonio Silver Stars, the play-by-play announcer for select San Antonio Spurs telecasts and, in the past, has served as host, play-by-play voice and sideline reporter for the NBA's Orlando Magic and Miami Heat. Simon, a former NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player and NBA player, currently serves as an analyst for Pac-10 men's basketball on FSN.
