Kerry Keating, on game: "They did a good job pressuring us and we weren't able to get the looks that we usually get in the paint. Also, we were not hitting out shots from outside like we normally we do. We had a number of good looks in the second half, but they didn't fall for us. We have to continue to grow and move on to the next game."
Keating, on defensive effort: "We played well defensively and held them well below their season average. However, they played us tough as well and they had enough at the end. While we played well defensively, we did get outrebounded and that is disappointing."
Brody Angley, on last-second shot: "It would have been nice to hit that one at the end. We made some mistakes earlier in the game and got in a hole, but we played well defensively to give us a chance at the end."
Ben Dowdell, on his recent play: "I have been trying to get more involved offensively and tonight I wanted to make (Charron) Fisher work defensively. He is a great player and he was tough to guard. I hope to keep contributing both defensively and offensively."
Dowdell, on his first Cable Car experience: "It is a great tournament. I did not know much about the three teams that came in, but they were all good teams and the games were close. Hopefully, we can come back and win it next year."
