Kerry Keating, on game: "We played well for the first 30 minutes and we kind of lost our focus at the end, but overall we had a good game. It was nice to see us come out focused and set the tone in the first since we were coming off the loss to Pacific last week. We responded well tonight and played some of our best basketball in the first half and the first half of the second half."
Keating, on team's learning process: "Tonight was another example of the team's learning process. We played well most of the game, but we did not finish the game great, but the team is still learning and getting better. We have been able to finish out seven games and three games we didn't finish. We have to keep working and improving every game."
Keating, looking ahead to Stanford: "It is nice to know that the team went in there last year and got a win. However, six of the players from that team are no longer here. We have a day to prepare for them, just like we had before the Utah and Utah State games earlier this year. Both of those times, we came out with a good effort."
John Bryant, on team's effort: "We had a much better effort tonight. We were more focused in practice the past couple of days and we wanted to put that Pacific loss behind us. The team played more together tonight and different guys stepped up to make plays."
Bryant, on his play: "I thought I had a good game, but my shot wasn't falling as much as I wanted. However, everyone worked hard and we were able to get the win."
Ben Dowdell, on his game: "I am just a freshman so I have to keep working hard to prove myself. I have to do the little things and try and contribute as much as I can with good defense, rebounding and smart play."
