Santa Clara is 3-1 in overtime games this year, including 2-1 in WCC play.
John Bryant broke the single season rebounding record previously held by Dennis Awtrey (409, 1970). Bryant came into the game only needing one rebound to break the record of 409. He now has 430 rebounds for the season. He needs 20 rebounds to tie Awtrey's career record of 1,135 rebounds (1968-70).
Marc Trasolini has scored 12+ points each of his last three games, including a WCC-high 16 points on Feb. 21 at USF. Trasolini is a sparkling 20-23 from the field, hitting 8 of 9 at USF, 6-7 vs. Gonzaga and 6-7 vs. Portland. He is shooting 67.3% this season (70-104). He is on pace to shatter both the Santa Clara individual season record (64.7% by Mike Stewart, 1971-72) and Santa Clara freshman record (62.6% by Jens Gordon in 1985-86).
John Bryant had 21 points 20 rebounds. It was the fifth time this season Bryant registered at least 20 points and 20 rebounds in a game. He is the national leader with his 5 20+/20+ games.
John Bryant is leading the nation with 24 double-doubles on the season. He has 48 double-doubles in his career, which is No. 2 of all active players behind Washington's Jon Brockman who has 55 career double-doubles.
Kevin Foster broke the school record for minutes played by a freshman in a season, previously held by Ben Dowdell with 890. Foster has played 932 minutes this season. He has five Santa Clara freshman school records: minutes played, points scored, field attempts, three pointer attempts and three pointers made.
