Trasolini, Canada Wrap up European Tour

Junior forward Marc Trasolini concluded his European exhibition tour with the Canadian Developmental Men's National Team on August 1.
The team lost to the powerhouse Spanish National Team 84-38. Rudy Fernandez of the Portland Trailblazers starred offensively for the Spaniards, adding 12 points and six rebounds. The Spanish National team was the 2006 World Champion and won the silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, losing to the USA.
The Canadians finished their European tour with a record of 3-5, with two wins against Ivory Coast and one versus Great Britain.
On July 31, Trasolini contributed seven points and notched a defensive rebound to help the Canadians defeat Ivory Coast for the second time in their tour, 95-92. Trasolini is expected back at Santa Clara in mid August to start training with the Broncos in preparation for their 2010-11 season.
