Dick Davey, on Josh Higgins play: "He has a pretty good touch and he has been playing well in practice. He had a solid game tonight and made his shots. That is what we have been seeing from him in practice and tonight he did it in a game."
Davey, on team's pace: "We are trying to play a bit faster and push the ball a little. We need to get some easy shots. With Danny Pariseau and Brody Angley in the lineup, we can get the ball down the court quickly, so we need to take advantage of that."
Josh Higgins, on game: "I thought that we went out there and played very well. We had lost two straight and it was nice to bounce back with a win against our rivals. They are a scrappy team that plays hard so it was a good win."
Higgins, on his play: "I got a lot of open looks close to the basket and they were dropping for me tonight. That is encouraging when that happens. I felt comfortable out there and took my shots when I had them."
Higgins, on playing with John Bryant: "It is nice to have another guy my size on the team. He does a lot of things well and we work hard against each other in practice. I think that practicing against another guy our size makes both of us better because we play against a guy who will push back and bang in the low post. We can also learn from each other."
