POST-GAME QUOTES - BOSTON v. UC RIVERSIDE

BOSTON HEAD COACH DENNIS WOLFF:

On the game:
"I thought our two guards, Brian Macon and Shaun Wynn played fabulous. Considering the pressure they were facing and the style of play they were going up against, their decision-making was terrific. We had 26 assists and 11 turnovers, which was a tremendous effort. The game was very loosely played, we were fortunate to shoot so well, I thought we handled the ball very well and made good decisions."

On the play of Kevin Gardner:
"I thought he tried a little too hard in the first half and wasn't settled in until the first 10 minutes of the second half. He was able to get into his game and play really well."

UC RIVERSIDE HEAD COACH DAVID SPENCER:

On the game:
"No way [being 0-10] doesn't take a toll on anyone, but I'm an optimistic guy. Right now all I pay attention to is trying to win. At one time tonight we had four freshman on the floor. I don't think I've ever been associated with a team that has been 0-10. I think we're so close, but we are what we are, a 0-10 basketball team."

"Right now I have a group of kids who are looking forward to starting league play."
