SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The legends of Santa Clara University men's basketball will return to the court on Saturday, January 28 in the annual Bronco Alumni Game, scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. tipoff in the Leavey Center.

While the list of participants remains a work-in-progress, past participants include, among numerous others, Eddie Joe Chavez '78, Bud Ogden '69, Bill Duffy, Mitch Burley '89, Jerry Bellotti '75, Victor Vasquez '73, Nathan Fast '99 and John Woolery '94.

Bud Ogden annually participates in the Bronco Alumni Game.


The game is one of a number of activities scheduled for Bronco Basketball Alumni Day. Following the game, the SCU Alumni Association will sponsor its annual Pasta Feed in the Malley Center. Contact the SCU Alumni Office at 408/554-6800 for information or to RSVP.

At 7:30 p.m., the Santa Clara men's basketball team will play Bay Area rival San Francisco in the 194th meeting between the two schools. The game will be televised live by Comcast SportsNet West.

There will also be a recognition of the 1968, 69 and 70 Bronco teams that accumulated a 72-12 record, won three league titles and made three appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
