Santa Clara Head Coach Dick Davey
"Tonight was a good for us. Playing three games in a four-day span forces you to get ready in a hurry and be very tough minded. I think our guys did a very good job in preparing for each game.
"Wright State is one of the best coached teams that we will face this year. They gave us a very good challenge tonight. Their defense caused us some problems throughout the game and they also have a couple of guys that can just flat out put the ball in the hoop."
Junior J.R. Patrick
"My knee is about 90% right now, but it continues to get better each day. It felt really good to get out there and contribute to a win. The injury is something I never had to go through before and something I don't want to go through again, but I realize that injuries are a part of the game. I am just happy to be out on the court again helping the team."
Wright State Head Coach Ed Schilling
"Santa Clara is a very good team and that shows that with them having six straight wins. We through everything at them in the second half and played with fire and intensity. We just came up a little short."
