SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Tonight's Santa Clara baseball game against San Diego has been postponed due to rain. The first game of the three-game West Coast Conference series will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Buck Shaw Stadium. The second game will follow 30 minutes after the first game. Sunday's contest is still scheduled for 1 p.m.
Tickets for this weekend's games are available by calling 408-554-4660 or at the ticket booth at Buck Shaw Stadium prior to the contest.
The Broncos return to Buck Shaw Stadium tomorrow for the first time since March 20 after a seven-game road swing. This weekend's series will mark the final three-game series in the satdium which has been the home of Bronco baseball since 1962.
On April 30, Stephen Schott Stadium will open as Santa Clara hosts Gonzaga in a 1 p.m. game. The 1,500-seat facility will be the year-round home of the SCU baseball program.
Tickets for games played at Stephen Schott Stadium are now open to the general public through the athletic ticket office and via the Internet at www.SantaClaraBroncos.com. A special package of reserved seat tickets to games in the new Schott Stadium is currently available for the price of $81. An order form is available here.
Tickets are priced at $10 for reserved seats, $6 for adult general admission and $3 for youths and seniors. Members of Bronco Kidz are admitted for just $2 with their membership card.
