SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- A new era in Santa Clara University baseball begins this spring with the Broncos playing their final games in venerable Buck Shaw Stadium and opening the new state-of-the-art Stephen Schott Stadium.

Tickets for this historic season are on sale now through the SCU Athletic Ticket Office by calling 408/554-4660 or online by clicking here.

A number of ticket options are available for fans to see every Bronco game this season in both stadiums. With the opening of Schott Stadium this spring, SCU is able to provide, for the first time ever, a premium reserved seat package. In addition, general admission, Family Plans, team passes, group tickets and Bronco Kidz options are available.

With the exact date of opening day still undetermined due to weather delays that have slowed construction, the athletic department is offering a discounted reserved seat season ticket with a couple of added perks.

For each reserved seat season ticket, the purchaser will receive a general admission ticket to every game in Buck Shaw Stadium, a general admission ticket to every game in Schott Stadium and a reserved seat ticket to every game in Schott Stadium. In addition, for this year only, at no charge SCU will provide a reserved seat ticket to each game of the West Coast Conference Championship Series if the Broncos are able to win the West Division and serve as the host of the event.

As an added bonus, each reserved seat season ticket order will receive an official Santa Clara Bronco Baseball t-shirt.

Reserved seat ticket packages are available for $125, while general admission season tickets are priced at $80 and the popular Family Plan, which provides five general admission tickets to each game, are $120.

Exact seating locations are not yet available due to ongoing construction. Once the seating manifest is finalized, seating will be assigned based on a priority system that will be announced soon. To find out more about seating priority, contact Fred Smith or Teal Sewards in athletic development by calling 4089/554-4063.

Single game prices have not changed from previous years, with the exception of a new reserved seat in Schott Stadium. General admission prices at the gate remain $6 for adults and $3 for youths aged 12 and under and seniors over the age of 65. Reserved seats are priced at $10, while team passes that provide admission for 16 youths and two coaches are available for $35. Groups of 25 persons or more are also able to purchase general admission tickets for half-price.

SCU faculty and staff receive complimentary admission for themselves and one guest with a valid ACCESS card at the gate. Active members of Ruff Riders, SCU's student spirit organization that totals over 2,200 members, receive free admission. SCU students who are not members of Ruff Riders and receive admission for $2.

Members of Bronco Kidz, SCU's official youth organization, receive admission to games for $2. The athletic department will conduct two Bronco Kidz days in which members receive free admission, once in Buck Shaw Stadium and once in Schott Stadium. In addition, each member is provided a coupon for free admission to one additional game.

Santa Clara opens its season with a three-game series against UC Riverside on Friday, Jan. 28. The Broncos play 20 of their first 25 games at home, including non-conference series against Utah, Washington, Cal Poly and Brown. SCU will also play single games at home against Sacramento State, San Jose State and Stanford.

The WCC season begins Saturday, March 19 with a doubleheader against Pepperdine. The Broncos host San Diego, Gonzaga, San Francisco and Portland during the season.
