The Santa Clara cross country teams are training hard this week for the Bronco Invitational this Sat., Oct. 18 at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale. Freshman Nhuguyen Le of Mission Viejo, Calif. is ready to run in his first Bronco Invitational. . Majoring in Biology, Le talks below about why he looks up to Forrest Gump, what he wishes he could change about the world and why he loves running at Santa Clara.

I didn't make the high school baseball team and I thought I'd give running a try.

What's the best part of being a cross country runner at Santa Clara?

Great team. Great people

Any advice for high school runners?

Train smart. Practice hard. Run fast. Have a blast doing it. Come to SCU!
