Men's Cross Country Places 13th At Stanford Invitational

Stanford, Calif. -- The men's cross country team participated in the Stanford Invitational Saturday after the women took 3rd in the Notre Dame Invitational. The men took 13th in a very tough field that included some of the top teams in the nation. Michael Delaurenti led the Bronco pack for the third race in a row, coming in 46th overall with a time of 25:19. Freshman Chris Sampson and sophomore Alex Harkins finished second and third for the Broncos respectively. Sampson finished 55th, just ten seconds behind Delaurenti and took 55th with a time of 25:29. Harkins ran a 25:57 and finished 90th. Freshmen Christopher Mosier and Robert Reid rounded out the scoring for the Broncos. Mosier ran a 26:02 and Reid ran a 26:10 to finish 100 and 110 respectively.
