SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara track & field will compete in a new venue Saturday when it heads to Clovis, California for the Fresno State Bulldog Invitational. The Broncos, racing for the second time in as many weekends, have 12 of 28 runners making a season debut in their respective events at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
"The Bulldog Invite is a new event for us and we are looking forward to it," head coach Felipe Montoro said. "Heats look great and it appears conditions will be outstanding for the middle-distance events."
