Aug 2, 2011 - Track & Field On the Run with Matt Savage Matt Savage (MS), a native of Concord, CA and a De La Salle graduate, is a rising senior who is staying busy pursuing his running and career aspirations this summer. Savage, an English and Philosophy double major, achieved a 3.86 GPA while racing in the cross country postseason for the first time. Jun 9, 2011 - Track & Field Cross Country Has Two Runners Honored Nationally; Wilson Third Straight Runner to Win Santa Clara's St. Clare Medal Santa Clara University’s cross-country track and team continues to be known as one of the highest academically-performing athletic programs with two recently honored nationally. On Thursday, senior Stephanie Wilson was named Capital One All-American First-Team All-District. Wilson is also receiving the Saint Clare Medal at Santa Clara’s graduation on June 11, which is given "to the female graduate judged outstanding in academic performance, personal character, school activities, and constructive contribution to the University by the faculty and the provost." May 16, 2011 - Track & Field Track Finishes Season With Many Career Highs With split squads competing at the Cal State Stanislaus Twilight on May 13 in Turlock, Calif. and the West Coast Invitational on May 14 in Salem, Ore., the Bronco track team and coaches had a busy weekend. [more]
May 16, 2011 - Track & Field Transitioning from Track to Cross Country for Hartwig Erin Hartwig, sophomore from Glendale, Calif. has already had success in her first complete season of track at Santa Clara University. She has raced in the 800m, 1500m and 5000m this season, earning seasonal and personal records with times of 2:27:12, 4:47:08 and 18:39:75, respectively. May 12, 2011 - Track & Field Brown was Born to Run Kazimir Brown (KB), also known as Amanda, grew up in a track family and was destined to be a runner. During her sophomore season here at Santa Clara, she broke two school records in the 100m and the 200m. [more]

Apr 18, 2011 - Track & Field Reid Wins 1500m to Highlight Bronco Track Efforts at UC Davis The Bronco track team participated in the Woody Wilson Invitational hosted by UC Davis on Sat., April 16. Temperatures in the mid 80's provided excellent conditions for the middle distance events, but made things difficult for those athletes competing in the longer events. Apr 11, 2011 - Track & Field Reid Reflects on his Bronco Experiences Robbie Reid, a senior from Los Altos, Calif. has been very involved here at Santa Clara University and now enters his last year on the Bronco’s track team. He has had an excellent start to the season placing third in the 800m at the Cal State Stanislaus meet as well as fifth overall at the UC Davis Aggies Open with a time of 1:54:02. Apr 11, 2011 - Track & Field Track Sets Personal Bests in Chico The Santa Clara track team traveled north to compete in the Chico Distance Carnival and the Chico Twilight on April 8 and 9 at Chico State. Apr 6, 2011 - Track & Field Wilson Begins Her Last Bronco Track Season Stephanie Wilson, a senior English major and local graduate of San Jose’s Archbishop Mitty, has begun her last track season as a Bronco this spring. Although she did not compete in the 2010 track season due to an injury, she had a record-setting year in cross-country as she was the 2009 NCAA All-American as well as 2009 WCC champion. Mar 10, 2011 - Track & Field Track Runs at UC Davis This Weekend; Readies for Big Things This Season The Santa Clara track season is beginning to feel like its in full swing. This weekend the Broncos will run at the UC Davis Open on Sat., March 12. Next weekend runners not still finishing finals, which are next week, will run at the Hornet Invite Sat., March 19. Finally, the full compliment of Bronco runners will take to the track to run either at the San Francisco Distance Carnival March 25 and 26 with a select number of runners who qualify running at the Stanford Invitational the same dates.
