SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara men's rowing team will bring the 2008-09 season to a close on June 4-6 at the 107th Intercollegiate Rowing Association Regatta on Lake Natoma in Sacramento, Calif.

The Broncos will send their Varsity 4 boat to the IRA Championships. SCU will compete at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 4 in the third heat of the event. The Broncos will battle Northeastern, Mary Washington, Georgetown, Princeton and Loyola College (Md.). The top finisher will advance to the finals, while the remaining teams will continue on to the Repechages on Friday, June 5.

In their last outing, SCU's four-boat finished with a time of 6:38.5 for the win after battling stroke-for-stroke with California, who crossed the line at 6:39.6.
