Men's Novice Four Finish Second in Rep at IRA Regatta
May 31, 2002 COOPER RIVER, N.J. - The Santa Clara University men's crew had its novice four race in the Reps on Day Two of the IRA Regatta in Cooper River, N.J. The freshman four finished the qualifying race in a time of 6:45.42, just 2.3 seconds behind race winner Harvard. The second place finish qualifies the Broncos for a spot in the Petite Finals of their division on Saturday.
Santa Clara finished their heat on day one at the IRA's in a time of 6:54.04, trailing Princeton and Navy in the first heat of the day.
