RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University men's crew completed its 2001-2002 season with the final day of the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships at Lake Natoma in Rancho Cordova, Calif.

After a good day one, the men's freshman novice eight began their competition in heat No. 1 of their division. The Broncos finished fourth in their heat, crossing the line in a time of 6:31.2 and qualifying them for a spot in the Petite Finals. There, Santa Clara finsihed third in a time of 6:57.4.

The varsity eight qualified for the Petite Finals Sunday with a good showing in Saturday's preliminary heat. In the Petite Finals, the Broncos raced a very good race, finishing first in a time of 6:15.7, giving the Broncos a victory in the team's last race of the year.
