Crew Has Good Showing Against Stanford

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - The Santa Clara University men's crew had a very good showing against the Stanford Cardinal Saturday morning at Redwood Shores, as all three boats were competitive in their respective races. The men's varsity eight finished 13 seconds behind the Cardinal while the second varsity eight crossed the line only three seconds behind Stanford, finishing its race in a time of 6:32. The novice eight crossed the finish line in a time of 7:02, 30 seconds behind the Cardinal in the final race. Santa Clara returns to the water in two weeks for the annual San Diego Crew Classic. The prestigious event will take place in the San Diego Bay on Friday and Saturday, April 5th and 6th.
