SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Santa Clara University women's crew battled through tough water conditions Sunday at the Port of Sacramento in the Davis Invitational Rowing Tournament to finish behind the host, UC Davis.

The varsity four and varsity eight each finished third out of four teams to begin the day, while the novice four and novice eight teams each finished second behind UC Davis.

The Broncos will continue their spring 2002 season March 24 when they race against Stanford University in Redwood Shores, Calif.
