Santa Clara Team Physical Therapists

Fabrice Rockich, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Fabrice received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biodynamics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994. In 1998, he earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California. He is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and is board certified as an Orthopedic Specialist. He has a special interest in Sports Medicine, and has worked with male and female athletes of all ages and skill levels. He is certified in Sportsmetrics™, a scientifically proven program for the knee, which focuses on knee injury prevention, ACL reconstruction rehabilitation, and sports performance enhancement. He is certified in Mousekeydo®, an ergonomic keyboard training program. He also has several years experience working with geriatric patients in home care and outpatient settings. He is a member of the Santa Clara University Sports Medicine team and provides physical therapy care to the university's athletes. Fabrice has practiced with the OPTM Group since 1998 and started OPTM Physical Therapy of Saratoga in 2004. He enjoys running, mountain biking, weight lifting and watching professional and collegiate sports.

Robert Lucente, DPT

Robert earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Combined Sciences from Santa Clara University in 2005, and while attending SCU he worked as a student athletic trainer in the sports medicine department. This experience inspired him to pursue a career in physical therapy so that he could expand his rehabilitation skills beyond athletics to the greater population. In 2008 Robert graduated from Mount Saint Mary's College with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree. Currently, he is working on becoming a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and obtaining his Orthopedic Specialist Certification (OCS). He is a member of the Santa Clara University Sports Medicine team and provides physical therapy care to the university's athletes. Robert has practiced at OPTM Physical Therapy of Saratoga since 2010. In his leisure time he enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and running.

Charlene Norquist, MPT, OCS, ATC

Charlene received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from University of California at Irvine 1996. While at UCI, she worked towards her athletic training certification by working with soccer, basketball, swimming and track and field. She also was involved in the dance department as an athletic trainer for dancers injured during performances. In 2000, she received her Masters of Physical Therapy from Chapman University. Since graduating, she has been working in a variety of orthopedic sports physical therapy settings and received her Board Certification as an Orthopedic Specialist in 2004. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Kirsten Curb, DPT

Kirsten Curb was born and raised in Santa Rosa, Calif. where she developed a love for all sports and played competitive volleyball and softball. A shoulder injury in college directed her to an interest in the fields of physical therapy and sports medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology at California State University Chico and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland. She remains an avid athlete and sports and fitness enthusiast and when she's not working you can find her on the volleyball court, softball field or training at the gym.

Michael Marcello, DPT

Michael Marcello is a Bay Area native, who enjoys watching and participating in sports and exercise. After rupturing ligaments in his knee while playing high school football, Michael's injury influenced him to pursue physical therapy as a profession. Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at San Jose State University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of the Pacific in Stockton. With that, Michael appreciates getting better every day and is always looking into the current evidence-based treatment and continuing education courses, geared towards orthopedic and sports medicine.
