|Title:||Men's and Women's Basketball Video Coordinator|
|College:||Santa Clara '05|
Graduating in 2005 from Santa Clara after a successful career with the Broncos, Kyle Bailey spent the last seven years playing professional basketball abroad. Retiring from professional basketball in the last year, Bailey returned to the Bronco family in August of 2013 and is in his first year as the men's and women's basketball video coordinator.
“We are excited to be able to add Kyle Bailey to our staff,” said Keating. “As a former successful player here, and one who earned his degree, he was able to extend his career playing in Europe. This is a great opportunity for us. And anytime we can bring former players closer to our current ones it’s an added bonus. Welcome back Kyle!”
"The chance to be working for the basketball programs as the video coordinator is an amazing opportunity," said Bailey. "I am very excited to be rejoining the Santa Clara family."
After signing with the San Antonio Spurs as a free agent in 2005, he was released later that year and went on to play seven years of professional basketball in Germany.
While with the Broncos, he led the team in assists and minutes played three times; three pointers twice; and free throw percentage and steals once. He earned First Team All-WCC honors as a sophomore and All-WCC Honorable Mention honors as a senior.
He is No. 3 all-time in career three pointers behind WCC record holder Kevin Foster ’13 and Steve Nash ’96.
A native of Fairbanks, Alaska, Bailey graduated in 2005 with a degree in Philosophy with a Pre-Law emphasis. He is a 2000 graduate of Lathrop High School.
