Steven Verba began his tenure at Santa Clara in July 2010. In his role as the Assistant Director of Recreation, he will oversee Intramural Sports, Club Sports, the Lifetime Recreation program, and the Bronco Kids All Sports Camp. Steven earned a BS from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 2003, where he majored in Economics and Sociology. Upon graduating, he remained at Rutgers and served as the Intramural and Sport Club Coordinator for the Office of Recreation and Community Development for 7 years before coming to Santa Clara.

Steven is an avid sports official/referee, and has worked both youth and adult leagues in various sports, including baseball, softball, basketball, flag football, and lacrosse.
