She and her colleague, Angela Munger, manage the athletic department's tutorial services and oversee student/faculty relations. Kranzler also serves as the main liaison between the athletic department and the office of Undergraduate Admissions.

A 2004 graduate of Davidson College, Kranzler earned her Masters of Education from UC Berkeley in 2007. In this course of study, she focused on the concrete and theoretical intersection of Academics and Athletics. While studying at Cal, she worked in the Cal Athletic Study Center.

In her relationship with student-athletes, Kranzler is best described as an advisor. A four year D-1 letter winner in field hockey at Davison College, she sees great academic support value in conversing with student-athletes about the growth that college as a student-athlete permits. In 2010, Kranzler began pursuing a second Masters in Counseling and Psychology as Santa Clara University.
