Lauren Weston was named Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at
Santa Clara University in August of 2012. She serves as the
athletic department’s primary medical contact for Bronco
volleyball and men’s tennis. She is also the
department’s athletic training room clinic coordinator.
Weston graduated from Loyola Marymount University in the Spring of 2012 where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. With the Lions, Weston was involved in all the day-to-day activities in the training room, working extensive hours with the nationally-ranked men’s water polo team. She also worked closely with softball, volleyball and both soccer programs.
She became Athletic Training Certified (ATC) in June of 2012. Weston gained additional experience in the field, spending over a year with Evolution Physical Therapy in Playa Vista, Calif. She also was the primary athletic training student for the Carson High School football program.
Weston is a native of Alta Loma, Calif. and is scheduled to receive a Master’s degree in Athletic Training from San Jose State University in 2014. She played club volleyball while at LMU and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
