Sabrina Polidoro was name the associate director of athletic media relations in August 2007. She will serve as the primary media contact for the Broncos' women's soccer, women's volleyball, women's basketball and baseball. For the last two years, Polidoro served as a graduate assistant in the athletic communications office of her alma mater, St. John's University. There she was responsible for the media relations efforts for the nationally ranked women's volleyball, and men and women's tennis programs. She also handled secondary duties for the Red Storm women's basketball team. Prior to her time in the athletic communications office, Polidoro worked as a staff writer, editor and sports photographer for the student newspaper, The TORCH. She was also a junior chairperson of the school spirit committee, and is a charter member of St. John's circle of Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society, in which she served as vice president. A native of Deer Park, N.Y., Polidoro is a dual-alum of St. John's, earning her bachelor's degree in journalism in 2005 and her masters of business administration with a concentration in marketing in 2007. |
