Chelle Pell begins her first year with Santa Clara as the Director of Facilities and Operations for the Athletic Department. Before joining Santa Clara, Pell acted as the Assistant Director of the Eagle Athletic Program at Eastern Washington University where she coordinated annual fund-raising activities, including prospecting as well as implementing plans and campaigns among other responsibilties. Prior to that, spent two years at Stanford University where she was the Manager and then Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities, Operations and Events. There she was responsible for the overall management of all university athletic events (approximately 250 per year, including Pac-10 and NCAA championship events) and twelve athletic facilities. She also worked closely with outside groups to host a variety of special events including Bank of the West Women's Tennis Tournament and Modern Pentathlon World Championships. Pell has also held positions as the Director of the NFL Experience for the Seattle Seahawks, Director of Operations for California State University, and the Assistant to the Athletic Director at Eastern Washington University. |
