Erin Patchett began her tenure at Santa Clara in August 2006. In her role as the Assistant Director of Recreation, she will oversee Club Sports, Lifetime Fitness Classes, Fitness and Aquatics staff, and the Bronco Kids All Sports Camp. Patchett earned a B.S. in Exercise Science/Athletic Training from the University of Iowa in 2003 and followed that degree up with a M.A. in Recreational Sport Management. During graduate school, she served as the graduate facility assistant for the Division of Recreational Services at Iowa and a graduate teaching assistant for the Leisure Studies program. An active member of the National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) since 2004, Patchett comes to Santa Clara from Stanford University. She worked at Stanford as the operations assistant for the track and field and cross country teams from August 2005 to August 2006. She was married in June 2006 to Rob Patchett, who is the Assistant Director of Intramurals and Open Recreation at San Jose State University. They reside in San Jose with their two cats Puma and Scampi. |
