Liz Courter joined the athletic staff of Santa Clara University in September of 2006 as the Senior Administrative Assistant for Development and Marketing. Courter's primary responsibilities focus on the Bronco Bench Foundation (BBF), which is the student-athlete scholarship fundraising group for Santa Clara Athletics. She provides support in all day-to-day operations of the BBF, including gift processing, stewardship and accounting. In addition, Courter is actively involved in event coordination for both the BBF and corporate sponsorship program as well as gift processing for sport specific and Strategic Initiative Fund fundraising. Courter's marketing duties include accounting and membership fulfillment for Bronco Kidz. Courter recently graduated from SCU in June of 2006 with a degree in Communications. She pitched for the Bronco softball team from 2002-2006, winning 39 games in that span. She won a career high 14 in 2005 and tossed 20 complete games. She was named All-Pacific Coast Softball Conference honorable mention that year and she was also a member of the PCSC Commissioner's Honor Roll for her success in the classroom during her career. |
