SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The fall season's rise to national athletics prominence continues for Santa Clara University.

For the fourth straight week, Bronco athletics remains among the top broad-based programs in the nation in the weekly Sports Illustrated All-Sports Rankings, the leading magazine announced on its special On Campus website.

Santa Clara ranks 13th among more than 325 Division I institutions nationally in terms of success in its in-season fall sports. Four Bronco intercollegiate teams rank among the top-20 nationally, including men's soccer (No. 4), women's soccer (No. 5), women's volleyball (No. 12) and men's water polo (No. 17).

During the course of the fall season, various Bronco sports teams have defeated opponents from four of the institutions ranked ahead of SCU in the poll: No. 1 Notre Dame, No. 3 Stanford, No. 5 UCLA and No. 7 California.

Overall, SCU fall team sports have compiled a 55-17-3 overall record for a .753 win percentage. The Bronco men's and women's soccer and volleyball teams, which all compete in the West Coast Conference, combined for a 42-7-3 mark for a .837 win percentage.
